Marcia Neblett (born, New York City) is an American visual artist who works across media with drawing, printmaking, book arts and animation. Marcia studied at SUNY Purchase College (BFA) taking her first woodcut class with Antonio Frasconi. She studied at Stony Brook University (MFA) in painting and printmaking.

Marcia has exhibited her work in venues such as: Virginia MOCA, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, The Everson Museum of Art, Lalit Kala Akademi in Chennai, The Nehru Centre in Mumbai, Art Space Dubai, Brent Sikkema Gallery and the AIR Gallery. She has participated in residencies that include: The MacDowell Colony, The Vermont Studio Center, The Chautauqua Artist Residency, The Plains Art Museum, the Jay County Art Center and the Alden B. Dow Creativity Center.

Marcia is a Fulbright Scholar who lectured in Malaysia at the Malaysian Institute of Art, and in India at one of the oldest art schools in the country - The University of Madras, Government College of Fine Arts in Chennai, and at Stella Maris College - one of the few all woman Catholic colleges in India. As an active art educator Marcia is passionate about teaching art and about global education.

Marcia has conducted workshops in Sri Lanka, and in Italy with SCAD’s Study Abroad Program. She has been a Visiting Artist at institutions in the United States and abroad. They include: The City University of New York, Washington State University, Salisbury University, The College of William and Mary, Texas A & M, Savannah State University, North Dakota State University, The College of Visual & Performing Arts in Sri Lanka and Manipal University in Karnataka, India. Marcia has held faculty positions at: Baruch College - The City University of New York, Cazenovia College, Farmingdale State College, The Savannah College of Art and Design and Norfolk State University where she currently teaches.
